To qualify for a GS-07, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience receiving incoming correspondences, and screening materials prior to distribution for suspense dates. Experience managing supervisor’s business calendar to include scheduling, canceling, and resolving unexpected scheduling conflicts. Experience composing and replying to routine correspondence. Experience reviewing and editing all command correspondence ensuring compliance with the Navy Correspondence Manual. Experience requisitioning all office supplies and equipment. Experience compiling and preparing input for the submission of the fiscal year travel budget to include field exercises, conferences, schools and any other mission essential travel requirements. Experience reviewing and preparing Marine Corps Fitness Reports, Navy Fitness Reports and Navy Evaluations for the Department.
