Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA’s) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience required for this positions is defines as: Providing administrative support and assistance to an office and/or department. Maintaining calendar and travel for supervisory and/or program officers. Managing official meetings for high-level executives within and outside the organization. Preparing briefing materials, composing letters and memorandums for senior and/or executive staff. Responding to congressional inquiries and Analyzing operational trends, compiling data and developing a wide variety of reports for analysis by senior management. This position is located in the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Disability Employment Policy. This position is outside the bargaining unit.
