To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: GL-06 and GL-07: As a general rule, education is not credible above GS-05 for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position. OR Experience: GL-06 and GL-07: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in federal service. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: GL-06: Experience maintaining department records, and assisting with ensuring program requirements and timeframes are met. Experience in the preparation of educational materials, to include audio, video, and literacy libraries. Experience with financial documentation to include purchase requests, coordinating orders, tracking shipments, and verifying order status. Experience with clerical duties to include typing, proofreading, correct punctuation, and ensuring proper grammatical format. Experience keying and submitting Time and Attendance records, to include proper use of codes and pay differentials. GL-07: Experience in maintaining and controlling department records, documents and other materials, and assisting with ensuring program requirements are met. Experience in assisting with financial documentation, such as, maintaining and purchasing office supplies, tracking and verifying invoices. Experience in clerical duties, preparing and typing correspondence, to include ensuring format, grammar, spelling and correct punctuation. Experience in keying, submitting, and maintaining Time and Attendance and files, to include proper use of codes and supporting documentation. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience.
