Minimum Qualification Requirements: You must have 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower band or level equivalent to the GS-12 in the federal service, which has equipped you with the skills and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as (1) providing a broad range of personal property and/or supply functions service to an organization to include monitoring and accounting for the acquisition and disposal of accountable personal property (computers, cellular phones, furniture, etc.); (2) maintaining records and data integrity using existing policies and standard operating procedures; (3) receiving and sending work using the U.S Postal Service and other courier services; and (4) managing the use of an agency’s or company’s motor vehicle fleet. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is located in the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Infrastructure Operations (IO), Shared Services, Mail and Imaging Centers (SSC/M). The SSC/M provides efficient, high-quality, centralized administrative support to assist headquarters and field offices staff in copying services, mail and courier services, fleet management and accountable property.
