Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret policy and resolve complex problems that may arise. Excellent interpersonal skills to form mutually beneficial relationships with staff, vendors, or other external and internal stakeholders. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a quick-paced environment while code-switching between various unrelated tasks effectively. Demonstrated prior administrative/support experience and experience managing/ monitoring projects. Legislative Branch experience preferred, but not required. Attention to detail is a must.
As an Administrative Specialist for the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights, you will be responsible for full front-line administrative support in a wide range of administrative tasks and office functions. The incumbent will be physically present during office hours and must have a strong understanding of the OCWR goals and objectives as well as a background on the general operations of the legislative branch.
