ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

For the ND-03: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-02 pay band (GS-5/8 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist applying engineering principles, methods, and techniques to gather, test, or analyze data used in support of software system engineering. For the ND-04: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 pay band (GS-9/11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist applying software system safety engineering processes to identify and correct deficiencies or improve performance of systems, processes, or operation.
