NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-14 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level defined as leading or advising on information management, financial or budget management activities; overseeing the execution of a program budget. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas: Ability to lead, coordinate and facilitate projects requiring cross-team interaction. Ability to advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Knowledge of EEO principles. Ability to review and analyze various types of financial data, such as, appropriated, fee related, supplemental and reimbursable funds. Ability to direct staff in formulating strategies, methods, procedures and policies to be used to develop office wide programs and plans. Ability to lead various government wide resource management processes and develops and executes OAP’s annual operating plan. Ability to coordinate information management planning and execution. Ability to direct staff in formulating strategies, methods, procedures and policies to be used to develop office wide IT/IM programs and plans. Ability to prepare written communication. Ability to conduct briefings and /or presentations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
