CONTRACT SPECIALIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (DA-05) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Demonstrating work experience with procurement planning and negotiations for large competitive service procurements, materials, or a major weapon system program and its components; (2) Requesting, analyzing, and evaluating cost and price data; (3) Negotiating and executing modifications, which may change contractual requirements of existing contracts; (4) Providing expert level acquisition advice for complex contracts; and (5) Interfacing with interested stakeholders to resolve problems and to ensure procurement goals are met. You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Group, Major Weapons Systems Aircraft Support Contracts Department, Aircraft Support Contracts Division, (Branch Assignment) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
