In order to qualify for the Pathways Internship Program, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria and the qualification requirements corresponding to the grade level at which they wish to be considered by the closing date of the announcement: PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be accepted for enrollment or currently enrolled as a degree seeking student in an accredited high school, home-school or a home-school curriculum, vocational or technical institution, 2- or 4- year college/university or graduate/professional school; taking a minimum half-time load of courses; possessing and maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a scale of 4.0; and pursuing any of the following academic degrees: High School Diploma or equivalent – A public high school whose curriculum has been approved by a State or local governing body, a private school that provides secondary education as determined under State law, or a home-school that is allowed to operate in a state. Vocational/Technical Certificate (two-year program) Associate’s Degree Baccalaureate Degree Graduate Degree (Master’s program) Professional Degree (Doctoral program) Under the Pathways Programs, the definition of “qualifying educational institution” includes certain home-school curricula. To be included, post-secondary home-school program must be recognized by the State or location government oversight agency. Students participating in theses home-school curricula may apply for consideration under the Pathways Program. Please click here for a list of qualifying educational institutions. NOTE: Official transcripts are required upon selection and prior to appointment. Transcripts and proof of enrollment may be obtained from the National Student Clearinghouse. Failure to submit the documentation will result in disqualification from further consideration. In addition to the eligibility requirements for the Pathways Internship Program, you must also meet the followings qualification requirements based on the educational achievements by the closing date of this announcement in order to qualify for the Student Trainee (Administration), 0399, at GS – 3/4. GS-03: Completion of 1 full academic year (30 semester/45 quarter units) of post-high school study. GS-04: Completion of 2 full academic years (60 semester/90 quarter units) of post-high school study or an associate’s degree.
