In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Mastering accounting and auditing theories, principles, practices, procedures and techniques independently performing a variety of internal control related assignments; 2) Identifying risks and developing corrective actions to address the root cause of the problem; 3) Utilizing automated system design procedures to describe system specifications and requirements and to conduct comprehensive assessments of the design, utilization and reporting operation; 4) Developing guidance, narratives, procedures and flowcharts to cover the full spectrum of financial reporting, operational and system activities to assist programs with resolving complex issues and address areas of risk; and 5) Communicating and presenting justifications and recommendations for corrective actions for process improvement and resolving complex issues.
