Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DP-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Evaluating EAS mechanical components to assess their design in meeting system requirements. Conducting technical reviews to determine acceptability of changes to contract required services or equipment and/or determines the usability of items not meeting the requirements of the contract. Furnishing advice to government contracting officers on technical matters. Reviewing contractor data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements. Providing technical leadership and guidance to competency managers and integrated program team members in support of assigned program initiatives and agency needs. Managing large scale, complex mechanical design development efforts, and integrating requirements from various engineering disciplines to accomplish these mechanical design efforts. Participating in the design engineering development, testing and analysis of test data, manufacturing development, and production to meet the operational specifications for the Advanced Arresting Gear EAS.
