Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must be skilled in all facets of maneuvering and driving vehicles in all types of weather. Must know the sizes and weights of vehicles and be able to judge overhead and side clearances, turning radius and braking distances. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and be willing and able to assure work is properly performed. Must have the initiative and judgement to make decisions of all kinds. Frequently required to handle objects weighing up to 20 pounds and occasionally required to lift objects weighing over 50 pounds. Prolonged sitting and driving over long distances. Successful completion of a security background (T1) check is required. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Mountain View Inn at Hill AFB, UT. This is a Regular Full Time (RFT) position with a guaranteed minimum of 35 hours weekly, and with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave). The purpose of this position is to operate motor vehicles with GVW of up to and including 7,000 pounds which are capable of carrying up to and including one ton. Recruitment and Retention Incentives may be authorized.
