Mandatory Requirements: Basic knowledge of the IC mission, organization, roles, and responsibilities. Business Acumen: Knowledge and full understanding of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and executive-level correspondence. Coalition Building: Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain professional networks across organizational boundaries to exert influence. Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to think strategically and identify needs, requirements, and develop recommendations. Leadership: Ability to mentor and train new officers to ensure consistent quality and control of processes and documents. Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to proactively manage competing priorities under strict deadlines. Self-Starter: Resourceful; able to take initiative and begin projects independently, as required. Superb Communicator: Superior communication, writing, and technical editing skills, with demonstrated success producing documents that are clear and concise for senior executives. Team Building: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member in a sometimes fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Bachelor’s Degree. Desired Requirements: Experience supporting executives and/or senior government officials. Knowledge of the ODNI and IC mission, organization, roles, and responsibilities. Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Chief Operating Officer (COO) administers the Director of National Intelligence (DNIs) vision and direction to the ODNI enterprise. This includes synchronizing policy, plans, procedures, and cross-functional issues. The COO oversees all ODNI business operations, including such areas as human resources, diversity & inclusion, finance and budget, information technology, security, facilities, and information management.
