Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position based on experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience at the NH-02 level in the Federal Service that includes the ability to: (1) managing new systems development, production and fielding; (2) coordinating system development, product improvement plans, and system modification; (3) planning and directing a systems acquisition program to ensure cost/schedule/performance goals are met; (4) evaluating the work of personnel from contractors and other supporting activities to approve, disapprove or modify data (i.e. reports, drawings, specification, configuration changes, etc.); and (5) providing advice, and/or assistance to senior PM personnel on any products assigned (such as resources, budget revisions, project milestones, financial objectives, etc.). The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 (or GS-11 equivalent). With a focus on developing current and future systems, PEO GCS is leading the production and management of all combat vehicles for the Army.
