Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with technical work as a Mechanical Engineering technician, demonstrating expertise in design and analysis. Experience with the SUBSAFE/Reentry Controls/DSS-SOC/ FBW processes, CVN Propulsion Machinery components and systems, CVN Propulsion Piping components and systems, CVN non-Propulsion Piping components and systems, and Submarine Steering and Diving and Surface Ship Steering systems, components, and hydraulic systems. Experience utilizing strong communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating clear and effective interactions with team members and stakeholders. Experience with training and mentoring engineers in the subject of SUBSAFE/Reentry Controls/DSS-SOC/ FBW processes, CVN Propulsion Machinery components and systems, CVN Propulsion Piping components and systems, CVN non-Propulsion Piping components and systems, and Submarine Steering and Diving and Surface Ship Steering systems, components, and hydraulic systems, contributing to their professional growth and knowledge development. Experience with leading projects and overseeing the work of subordinates, driving successful outcomes and promoting teamwork.
