ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Visiting work sites to gain further information pertaining to the scope of work, amount and type of labor, material required, and anticipated work problems; 2) Applying comprehensive knowledge of technical engineering principles, building codes, and safety regulations; 3) Reviewing and recommending approval of shop drawings, manufacturer’s data and materials for acceptance from contractors; 4) Utilizing computers and software systems to prepare specifications, cost estimates, and schedules. You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Facilities Support Contracts Branch, Facilities Engineering & Acquisition Division, Public Works Department Earle of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
