In addition to basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer, providing technical direction in the execution of research and development of Non-Destructive inspection or testing techniques of composite material (e.g. metal alloys, hardware/fasteners, advanced coating, corrosion control) to ensure structural sustainment of electronic systems (e.g. antennas, radomes, receivers, transmitters) for technological advancement of Airborne Electronic Attack Systems. You will serve as an ENGINEER in the Spectrum Warfare Systems Dept (WX), Airborne Electronics Attack Systems Division (WXS), within the Structural Sustainment (WXST) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
