Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 12 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience researching and analyzing core staffing needs, levels, and trends data utilizing automated system programs to provide recommendations to management. CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 13 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience researching, developing and analyzing core staffing needs, levels, and trends data; designing and utilizing automated system programs that analyze core staffing needs, levels and trends; and implementing the business planning process in order to provide recommendations to management. This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, Headquarters Office in Arlington, VA of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and contributes to effective and efficient managerial and administrative activities by translating the goals and objectives of the FDIC Strategic Plan into a business planning process that links the Divisions mission and goals with its annual budget, and provides for measurement of Division performance.
