Applicants must possess IT related experience demonstrating EACH of the four IT Specialist competencies AND one year of specialized experience as described below: Attention to Detail – Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Problem Solving – Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience: 1. Deploying and testing the system configurations against security standards associated with implementing: Endpoint Management using Mobile Device Management (MDM) such as Intune, MAAS 360, or Mobile Iron Windows 10, Windows 11, Apple iPhone and/or Apple iPad PowerShell and/or Microsoft Graph Virtual Desktops such as VMware horizon/workstation, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop 2. Deploying secure MDM-managed devices (e.g. laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and/or tablets); and 3. Testing secure baseline policies using Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks and/or Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). All applicants applying for the CU-14 level must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-13 level obtained in the private or public sector. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience: 1.
