Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level: Serving on teams to assist with completing projects or studies to evaluate organizational performance; Assisting with identifying resource requirements (i.e., staffing funding, equipment, facilities) to support a program or project; Analyzing or interpreting program or financial requirements, regulations, policy statements, or other similar guidelines or informational material to assist with determining the impact on program or project operations. To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Participating in the development of plans for project teams and other groups to complete projects and studies to evaluate organizational performance; Assisting with identifying resource requirements (i.e., staffing, funding, equipment, facilities) to support various levels of a program/project operational needs; Analyzing and interpreting program or financial requirements, regulations, policy statements, and/or other similar guidelines or informational material to determine the impact on program operations. You will serve as a Program Analyst involved in workforce and financial planning, execution, analysis, and reporting. You may support programs, projects, and/or institutional business operations, providing business management and systems expertise enabling directorate and/or Agency-wide oversight of program planning and control activities supporting timely and cost-effective mission objectives. The work will vary depending on each Centers role and responsibility to the mission.
