EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, 0303). GS-7: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-6 grade level in the federal government or private sector performing specialized office tasks including making travel arrangements for executive staff; compiling information from a variety of sources to prepare reports for executive staff; preparing supply requisitions according to established rules; & providing direct support and technical assistance to branch managers, supervisors, and staff in departments such as finance, human resources, procurement, property and supply, and Indian self-determination. Proficiency Requirements: Position with Parenthetical Title of Office Automation – In addition to meeting experience or education requirements, applicants for these positions must show possession of 40 word per minute typing speed. Applicants may meet this requirement by self-certifying their proficiency. Experience using automation and computers for supply management is highly desired. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date. This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Midwest Region in Bloomington, Minnesota. To serve as the primary point-of-contact of the Regional Office.
