In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located here SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 in the Federal Service. Specialized experiences is experience in the Information Protection field, management and integration of Special Access Program, Information Security, Industrial Security, Personnel Security, Information Systems Security, Physical Security, Operations Security and Acquisition Security programs. Desired Skills: 1-5 years of security experience supporting Special Access Programs Experience and understanding of the Security Eligibility Process Understanding of the ICD 705 Technical Specs for constructing facilities Experience in security management compliance Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of a wide range of security disciplines and functions, security systems, flight and ground test security operations, concepts, principles and practices that include, Acquisition Programs Security, lnfom1ation Protection, Information Security, Industrial Security, Physical Security, Personnel Security, Operations Security (OPSEC), Foreign National Visitors and Foreign Military Sales, Technology Transfer. Arms Control Treaty Compliance, RDT&E Test Security, Program Protection Planning and Critical Program Information, Public Release, Communications Security (COMSEC), Emissions Security, Counter-intelligence, and Special Access Program (SAP) security requirements. Knowledge of processes for classified material handling, classification and marking policies, standards and guides. Skill in attention to detail, researching and writing security plans, test plans, operating instructions, and program procedures. Skill in interpreting Security Classification Guides and Program Management Guides and implementing security programs and operations accordingly. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and assemble, compile, compose, coordinate and track information for reports, inquiries, investigations and related correspondence. Ability to plan, organize work, meet deadlines and multi-task.
