To qualify for this position at the FG- 6 level: To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG-5 or FV-D (FG-5/6) level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is: Technical program support; researching, writing, and typing non-technical and routine correspondence; reviewing and distributing incoming correspondence; maintaining files; general office support; preparing reports; entering information into systems and responding to telephone calls. To qualify for this position at the FG-7 level: To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG-6 or FV-D (FG-5/6) level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is: Applying agency directives and various agency policies governing technical programs; performing a variety of technical administrative work, such as, preparing complex reports; assisting in interpreting and implementing newly modified agency directives and determining action needed; managing records; providing tracking and validation support of funds for employee travel; assist in writing complex technical and non-technical correspondence and reports; researching technical data; reviewing and analyzing complex information; and interpreting directives. Serves as an Aviation Safety Assistant in the Denver Flight Standards Field Office (FSDO). Provides administrative support to Aviation Safety Inspectors by obtaining background data, preparing reports, reviewing applications, interviewing applicants, processing certificates, and maintaining office files.
