QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Managerial or supervisory work experience of the caliber described above that demonstrates: – A comprehensive knowledge of the full range of principles, concepts and methodology associated with lodging functions to plan and complete assigned workload. – Broad knowledge of the policies and procedures of the functional and administrative areas such as contracting, finance and accounting, budget, counsel, information management, etc., to coordinate and resolve questions/problems. – Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external customers to serve as a point of contact for assigned projects. – Skill in written and verbal communications to explain/defend status of program, make presentations in public forums, etc. All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience and education. Those applicants determined to be highly qualified will be referred to the hiring official for consideration. The highly qualified candidates may undergo an interview and reference checks. All answers to the Highly Qualifying Criteria must be demonstrated in your resume to get credit. Three years of experience in any of the following areas: MWR, Lodging/Billeting, or Business. Possess detailed knowledge of at least one hotel program area such as financial management, housekeeping, asset management, capital projects, or front desk/reservations. Experience in analyzing operational issues and developing and implementing solutions. Experience in developing specifications. Possess general business acumen and understanding of military hospitality industry. Possess experience submitting Army Correspondence in final draft, including data preparation and reporting documents, information papers, spreadsheets and/or slides.
