GS-15: To qualify at the GS-15 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level: Leading multi-disciplined or cross-functional teams involving aerospace technology development programs/projects; Leading strategic planning in support of technology development projects; Communicating technical information to a range of stakeholders, including senior management officials. You will serve as a supervisory Deputy Office Chief for the Space Communication and Spectrum Management Office. Responsibilities include coordinating, monitoring, supervising and/or performing a variety of technical managerial functions for space communication research, development, design, test, and operations efforts. Selected individual may also manage critical and/or high priority projects and will lead elements of developing/executing strategic plans at the portfolio level.
