Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) leading personnel in performing nuclear or chem/bio security functions such as, access control operations, safeguarding personnel, information, critical assets, and regulating pedestrian and vehicular traffic to ensure operations are completed correctly; 2) providing guidance in areas of guard force training, based upon personnel performance and observation; AND 3) assisting with personnel management operations, such as monitoring staff performance, reviewing available staffing level on daily shifts and proposing work assignments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NK-02/GS-07). About the Position: Position is located at White Sands Test Center, Mission Support Dir, FBR Site Defense Force with duty location of White Sands Missile Range, NM. The Range provides Army, Navy, Air Force, DoD, and other customers with high quality services for experimentation, test, research, assessment, development, and training in support of the Nation.
