Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must possess Photoshop experience. Corel Draw experience strongly desired. Embroidery experience preferred. Must have experience and basic knowledge of engraving techniques, materials, and processes; skill in use of a variety of hand and power tools such as drills and hammers desired; skill in basic layout procedures for repetitive assignments desired. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and move heavier items with the assistance of other workers. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to read and follow simple and specific written and/or oral instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps. Must be able to calculate lengths, widths, and weights. Able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical and a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACl). This position is a drug testing designated position (TDP). About the position: This position will be assigned to the Arts & Crafts Department on Edwards, AFB. This is a Regular Part Time (RFT) position (guaranteed 20-35 hours per week) with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave.
