Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for the CG-13 grade level, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience conducting analysis and evaluations of business practices; analyzing data and trends on diversity and inclusion providing recommendations for improving diversity in the workforce; planning and participating in outreach and technical assistance activities. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
This position is located in the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion, Diversity and Business Inclusion Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for assisting and carrying out a wide range of programs’ planning and analysis, policy review, and other work associated with the implementation of Section 342 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act), and outreach to financial institutions, minorities and women.
