Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience Applicant must have experience which provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs, and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which position is assigned. Requires ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Skill in dealing with the public. Physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions.
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation at March ARB, CA. This is a regular part-time position which means you are guaranteed to work at least 20 hours per week.
