To qualify for this position at the FV-I (FG/GS 13) level, applicants must have one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FV-H (FG/GS-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized Experience includes experience trouble shooting, modifying, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment, these component level repairs are completed with the use of the technical instruction manuals, blueprints, OEM system drawings and the knowledge of electronic and electrical theory by using various types of basic and complex electronics test equipment. That equipment includes but is not limited to multi-meters, power meters, watt meters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers. AND Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well qualified candidates will demonstrate knowledge of electronics/electrical systems, technical principles and standards through experience with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) repairs of NAS equipment within their resume. AND Pre-employment Physical Requirement: You must be able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position without hazard to yourself or others. Selectee must pass a pre-employment physical prior to appointment. Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.
