To qualify for the 2210 IT Specialist series, applicants must demonstrate the following competencies: Attention to Detail – Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. In Addition To qualify for the GS-15: The applicant must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-14 level, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled, that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience should include all of the following: Developing and implementing IT policies Leading IT projects and managing employee workloads in the design AND implementation of new or improved IT systems according to IT policies/business requirements for customer organizations Experience with data governance/management. The employee provides leadership in the implementation of policies, initiatives and procedures in support of the data management program in headquarters and regional operations nationwide. Directs employees involved in one or more of a variety of software development functions including the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, validation, implementation, maintenance or support of the major SSA programmatic systems integral to the delivery of SSAs quality assurance (QA) service.
