Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience incorporating maintenance and inspection requirements into ship’s long range operational schedules; Experience coordinating ship arrivals and departures with Port Operations; Experience reviewing casualty reports and special incident reports in order to maintain or modify long and short range schedules to meet emergent requirements or to mitigate operational impact of unplanned events; Experience analyzing Type Commander (TYCOM) requirements (e.g., ship overhaul or repair schedules, training requirements) to support certification and fleet schedules; Experience coordinating with senior leaders on operational issues (e.g., Defense Readiness Reporting System (RRS), Fleet Priority mission and exercises, Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and operational training to ensure requisite platforms are available for use.
