MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Management and Program Analyst specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a knowledge of the Naval Meteorology, Navigation, and Oceanography mission, functions, goals, programs, organizational and operational interfaces. You should have a basic knowledge of weather analysis and forecasting, physical oceanography and ocean analysis and forecasting. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researching, analyzing and formulating data management policy proposals for Naval Oceanography while providing leadership and oversight across the organization; 2) Using data management practices, building an inventory of data assets/sources and organizing a data catalog; 3) Familiarity with DOD missions, operations, weapons and sensor systems, and the Joint requirements and acquisitions process; 4) Using a knowledge of data and system architecture evaluation and/or creation; and 5) Applying a basic knowledge of positioning, navigation, and timing.
