FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command - Department of the Navy

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying technical principles, directives, and methods of facility management to maintain and improve facilities condition assessment, work prioritization, maintenance planning and maintenance and repair execution through prompt resolution of program deficiencies; 2) Assisting Public Works Department (PWD) with investment prioritization through Maintenance Execution Plans (MEPs), Maintenance Action Plans (MAPs) and Long Range Maintenance Plans (LRMPs); 3) Tracking multi-year metrics to monitor and control the Infrastructure Condition Assessment Program (ICAP); 4) Coordinating data calls, troubleshooting problems, providing training and advocating to higher echelons on behalf of the Public Works Departments PWDs in support of ongoing programs (e.g., (PREP) Public Works Readiness Evaluation Program, (FSM) Facilities Sustainment Model, Base Operating Support Contract (BOSC) facilities data integration, etc.); and 5) Establishing technical and policy goals and setting multi-year objectives to maintain and/or improve the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) Program at the Public Works Departments (PWDs).
