Basic Requirement for 0101 series: BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of a bachelor’s or higher degree that included a major field of study in behavioral or social science or related disciplines appropriate to the position. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts) OR A combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts) OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to meeting the above basic education requirements, applicants must also meet specialized experience: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of demonstrated experience 1). Conducting assessments to evaluate needs and risks; recognizing the need for professional intervention and referring to appropriate services; 2). Initiate formal request for personnel action, detail, reassign or promotions and make selection of employee; 3). Developing performance plans and appraises performance. AND 3). Conducting briefings on the nature and purpose of the Family Advocacy Program and monitoring and evaluating program implementation. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Managing Human Resources Oral Communication Technical Competence Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
