Loan Specialist

GS-09: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: applying the knowledge of regulations and procedures governing the servicing, purchasing, and/or liquidation of consumer and commercial loans; AND analyzing, evaluating and identifying financial management problems, and recommending appropriate action. This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Birmingham Disaster Loan Service Center in Birmingham, AL. Incumbent serves as a Loan Specialist and is responsible for servicing or liquidating a full range of disaster business and home loans.
