Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Collaborating with contracted activities such as grounds maintenance, janitorial maintenance, facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, procurement, etc. and assures needed materials are available; 2) Coordinating with staff and operating officials in resolving problems, obtaining technical data, specifications, and pertinent information relative to preventive maintenance and facility operations; and 3) Functioning as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for a variety of supply and/or service requirements that are associated with the successful completion of the agency service contracts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) All Current Federal Employees MUST attach a current SF-50 for consideration. Without a SF-50, your application WILL NOT be considered. About the Position: Serve as a coordinator for all major O&M contract activities at two or more remotely located lake field offices with the responsibility of implementing the contract work program, functions, and providing guidance to Quality Assurance Specialists and Facility Managers assigned to individual lake field offices in accomplishing all elements of the contract work and administration program.
