Minimum Qualifications GS-10: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Overseeing the installation of complex systems and associated facilities; Collecting data or modifying designs to achieve performance/cost objectives; Compiling information from technical documents, design reports, plans, and/or specifications; and Interpreting agency policy and regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-09). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical) Database Management Systems Facilities Technology Application Writing Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, at the GS-10 grade level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09). All qualification requirements, including time after competitive appointment, must be met within 30 days of closing date of this announcement.
