Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a knowledge of shipbuilding, managerial and administrative principles and practices that enables employees to serve as a recognized expert and to recommend policy and program objectives. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Advise management on requirements vis-a-vis long range restoration and maintenance plans; 2) Provide guidance and recommend action to cover complex problems faced by 18th century shipbuilders and craftsmen; 3) Conduct research pertaining to late 1700’s and early 1800 shipbuilding techniques and practices; Determine program goals and develop work plans for projects.
