GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience. Examples of specialized experience are: 1) Knowledge of and skill in applying a wide range of human resources management theories, principles, laws, rule, regulations and procedures to identify interrelated problems, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate courses of action. 2) Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with supervisors and managers and to gain their confidence and cooperation.3) Skill in written and verbal communication to prepare and present classification criteria and justification. and/or 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience. Examples of specialized experience are: 1) Knowledge of position management principles and techniques to provide management advisory services on all HR issues and organizational structures that are efficient, cost effective, support desired grade levels d facilitate career development. 2) Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with supervisors and managers and to gain their confidence and cooperation. 3) Skill in written and verbal communication to prepare and present classification criteria and justification, recommend and or carry out specific action(s) regarding complex management/employ relations issues, develop and provide functional training, and prepare policy or other written instruction as needed. and/or master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: General Schedule Qualification Standards Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
