COMMERCIAL SPONSORSHIP SALES TECHNICIAN, NF-3

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in professional sales that demonstrates the ability to approach companies for commercial sponsorship, marketing account management, consumer behavior, advertising and negotiate terms of a contract. Must be detail-oriented and proficient with current software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional planning and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate the distribution of information between internal departments and outside partner organizations. Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills. Exhibit both strong oral and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with military personnel, sponsors and MCCS employees and managers. Must have proficient knowledge of solicitation techniques, including identifying key personnel in external agencies, cold calling ability, creating solicitation collateral, and public speaking skills preferred. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interpret DoD and USMC policies concerning sponsorship agreements. Ability to understand the department goals, determine role within it, and make suggestions/recommendations as needed. Ability to work weekends when necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a no-commission sales position. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.
