YOU MUST FIRST MEET THE RECENT GRADUATE PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION. Minimum Qualification Requirements For GS-07 You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-07, if you possess the specialize experience, education, or a combination of the two. Specialized Experience for the GS-7 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-05 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1. Experience drafting initial work plans and reports for supervisor approval. 2. Experience assisting with program studies and analysis of operations 3. Experience documenting and researching problems with methods of programs or operations. OR EDUCATION (see EDUCATION SECTION of the vacancy announcement) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) For GS-7 The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs). You do not need to provide separate narrative responses to these KSAs, as they will be measured by your responses to the occupational questionnaire (you may preview the occupational questionnaire by clicking the link at the end of the Evaluations section of this vacancy announcement). 1. Ability to anticipate and meet the needs of both internal and external customers and deliver high-quality products and services. 2. Skill in use of computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work. 3. Skill in making sound, well-informed, and objective decisions, perceiving the impact and implications of the decisions.
The position is telework eligible consistent with the Agency’s telework policy. This position is located in Federal Student Aid, Student Experience & Aid Delivery (SEAD). The incumbent participates in program studies and analysis of operations to achieve greater economy and efficiency; and prepares materials for workflow and operational analysis, cost studies, and/or equipment utilization.
