Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing a full range of duties and responsibilities in preventing terrorist activities, resolving offenses, conducting preliminary and/or ongoing investigations of incidents ranging from simple rule violations to felony and capital crimes; 2) Using nonlethal weapons and subduing a suspect in accordance with “use of force continuum” guidance; 3) Demonstrating techniques and procedures used to collect, protect, and process evidence from a crime scene, to include maintaining chain of custody for evidentiary purposes; 4) Documenting law enforcement and security events and issuances of citations; and 5) Mirandizing suspects and testifying in court as it pertains to enforcing regulations.
