You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):You qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and ability to combine ingredients such as liquors, soda water, sugar, bitters, and fruit. 2. Ability to mix exotic drinks 3. Must be able to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance, if needed. 4. Must be able to follow cash handling procedures. 5. Be able to communicate clearly. 6. This position will be assigned to the the JBSA Ft Sam Houston Golf Course. This is a flexible category position, with no guaranteed hours, may work up to 40 hrs per week. Scheduled as needed. Employees appointed to a flexible category position are not eligible for benefits. Requires walking/standing for prolonged periods of time, frequent light to moderate lifting and carrying objects weighing 5-15 lbs, pushing and pulling objects weighing 10-20 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
