Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to produce lessons learned products supporting the continuing evolution of strategic, operational, or tactical requirements; to include after-action reports, studies, and other organizational performance improvement products. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral Communication Organizational Awareness Technical Competence Writing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). NOTE: Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date ofthe announcement.
About the Position: This position serves as a Military Analyst (Lessons Learned) within the Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL), Fort Leavenworth, KS. Eligible for situational telework ONLY, including emergency and OPM prescribed “unscheduled telework”. Note: This position is obligated.
