LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by: Experience budgeting for normal and contingency food service operations, equipment replacement, and facility maintenance; Experience utilizing computer processes to audit daily cycles to determine integrity and validate system change packages; Experience working with system software evaluations and design methods to translate functional requirements into specifications for implementation; Experience evaluating problems, and developing proposed solutions to functional problems in automated logistics systems; Experience using qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques for analyzing and measuring parameters of studies and projects and to accomplish planning and provide guidance and direction for the related logistics and information systems programs.
