In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in the ability to processes raw GEOINT imagery, data, and information from a variety of sensors and sources to develop tailored, focused, and time sensitive GEOINT products for a variety of users. Competent in producing all types of GEOINT products utilizing a variety of sources, such as Cartography; Grids, Coordinate Systems and Projections, Datums and Datum Transformation; Remote Sensing and basic imagery analysis techniques; GIS Concepts, GIS Software and Methodologies; Basic-Intermediate Object-Oriented Programming, and GIS Application Programming Interfaces. Possess understanding of operational GEOINT processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED). Provides multi-source imagery analysis and production services to the military community. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Intelligence Operations Research and Data Analysis
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.
