Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: To qualify at the DE-03/GS-12-13 equivalent grade level: Your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DE-02 pay band or equivalent grade level (GS-11) level in the Federal service which includes: (1) Managing and supporting operations and activities relating to the organizations mission and functions; (2 ) Reviewing and developing plans for a wide variety of projects and policies, procedures, and practices; (3) Preparing and presenting high level briefings to senior leadership on operations; AND (4) Analyzing organizational systems to make recommendations and improvements to existing programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-02 pay band or equivalent grade level (GS-11). This position is part of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC), Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratory Personnel Management Demonstration Project. CCDC Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Personnel Management Demonstration Projection. The DE-03 pay band is equivalent to the GS-12 step 1 through GS-13 step 10 grade levels.
