Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Developing, implementing, and assessing training products and delivery methods. Industrial Security and National Industrial Security Program (NISP) principles, policies, and procedures. Reviewing, interpreting, and applying policy changes to existing training and products; Interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, to include public speaking. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: Curriculum Development- Develop training and educational content with corresponding curricular products and services to facilitate competency acquisition. Instructional Delivery and Learner Development Deliver-provide, and monitor training and education for individuals and groups within learning environments. Tailor and adapt instruction to ensure learners’ needs are met and learning outcomes are achieved. Program Security- Employ an array of traditional, acquisition and security measures to sustain secrecy of highly sensitive United States Government programs and/or activities. Prevent unauthorized disclosure of national security program information throughout the program lifecycle. Security-Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines related to securing personnel, facilities, and information, including the requirements for handling, transporting, and protecting classified information and proper reporting of security incidents. Communication- Communicate (i.e., written and oral) rights, responsibilities, management directives, policies, and/or regulations to employees, supervisors, and/or other pertinent individuals.
