BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): Medical Technologist Series 0644 (opm.gov) In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: managing the functions of a clinical laboratory and/or department within a clinical laboratory in a hospital and/or clinic setting; writing and implementing laboratory policies, procedures and procedure manuals; establishing and maintaining effective quality control/assurance, maintaining lab accreditation, knowledge of CLIA requirements, preventive maintenance and safety program, and providing laboratory technical oversight of a lab and its staff. Note: Employees currently assigned to positions in this occupational series as of September 2017 will be considered to have met the basic requirements for the position occupied. This position is located in Crow Agency, MT and serves as the Clinical Laboratory Supervisor for the Crow Service Unit (including clinics located at Lodge Grass Health Center and Pryor Clinic). The incumbent is responsible for the administrative and technical direction of laboratory services for Crow Service Unit. A housing stipend of up to $793.38 without dependents or $1,012.15 with dependents may be available per pay period.
